Buckin' For A Cause is very grateful to have the The Glory Riders joining us for the Buckin' For A Cause Fundraiser event, which is hosting a bull ride to raise funds for the Grayson County Shelter this year. They have graciously consented to perform during halftime. If you have never seen this group before you will be in for a rare treat. If you are unfamiliar with who this group is, we would like for you to know more about them.
The Glory Riders are comprised of men and women from various walks of life and faiths, who made a decision to donate their time and talents to fulfill the vision of this rodeo arena ministry. In 1989, Joy West, Jan Lobban, and Peggy Patrick shared the same vision of lifting up the name of Jesus in the rodeo arena. Ever since then, the Glory Riders have been privileged to travel to many different and unique events proclaiming the name of Jesus. They have performed in church services, rodeos, parades, and prisons. In the last few years, this ministry has expanded to include teams to travel to California, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, and Washington.
